It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M Goda of Orange, Connecticut, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William R. Goda; her parents, Joseph Finnell and Helen Finnell (Kollmansperger); her stepfather Edward Barnes; and her brother John Finnell.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Greenslade (Jack) of Southington, Beverly Hurteau (Ray) of Orange and Michael E. Goda (Marcia); her grandchildren, Raymond Hurteau (Jaymie), Kathryn Hurteau (Sean Fawcett), Michelle Hurteau Tripp (Scott), Caitlin Shilati (Jay) and David Greenslade (Casey); her great grandchildren, Raymond, Claire, Olivia, Ryan, Carter and Makenna; her nephew John Finnell II; and her friend Pat Damon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society or to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
