He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Carter Caldwell, Sr. and Helen Caldwell (Taylor). He is survived by: his wife Candice Caldwell (Smith); his children, Tiffany Beesley (William) and Jeffrey Caldwell, Jr. (Melanie); his grandchildren, William, Sarah Beesley, Kyle and Kadin Caldwell; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Caldwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
