She was predeceased by: her parents, George Omer Gelinas and Gertrude Stanley Gelinas; her husband James T. Nixon MD; and her brothers, George, Gareth and Gerard.
She is survived by: her sons, Jonathan and Jared Nixon; and her grandson Benjamin Nixon (Courtney). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to either the Orange Garden Club or to the Orange Tree Committee.
