He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Haeckel; his daughters, Marion Katuzny (late John), Deborah Haeckel and Barbara Haeckel (Chun); his grandchildren, Carol Ryon (Robin), Jennifer Michi (Robert), Robert Katuzny (Ashley), Kevin Katuzny (Jennifer) and Katie Katuzny (Ninette); his great grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Finn, Arden, Hudson and Asher; his stepchildren, Joyce Meyers, David Haglund (Lisa) and Cynthia Pirog (Steve); and his stepgrandchildren, Lauren, Cassidy, Benjamin, Theodore and Jeffery.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477). The military honors was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at the same location.
