With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Doris E. Turbeville of Orange, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Wilkins and Thetus Wilkins of Orangeburg; and her husband Allen Sanders Turbeville. She is survived by: her children, Betty Morgan (Arthur Rosen) of Framingham, MA, Susan Cline of Ashby, MA, Allen Robert Turbeville of Derby, CT and John Allen Turbeville (Elaine) of Orange, CT; her sister-in-law Jane Montgomery of Milford, CT.; and her grandchildren, Jamie (Amparo), John Robert (Jennifer), Michael Turbeville, Sarah, John Allen Turbeville, Amy Erickson (Pete), Adam Cline (Nicole) and Laura Cline. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home (291 Bridgeport Ave, Milford, CT 06460). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Kings Highway Cemetery (270 Cherry St, Milford, CT 06460).
