He was predeceased by: his parents, Thoma Kareco and Alexsandra Qendro Kareco; his siblings, Kasiani, Eftimia, Andromaqi and Ksanthipi; and also Jani.
He is survived by: his children, Thoma Kareco (Albina Kareco) and Kosta Kareco (Svanilda Kareco); his grandchildren, Antea, Donald, Alexa and Erica; and his nieces and nephews, Aleko, Ligor, Eric and Nina.
