We bid farewell to Scott Ward of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 10, 2025 at the age of 58. Scott touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Clifford Ward; his grandfather Gramps; and his father-in-law Richard Long (Dick). He is survived by: his friend Mike; his wife Kathy; his son Frank Serio III; his daughter-in-law Tara Serio (Faldman) of Portland, CT; his daughter Michelle Serio of Jacksonville, FL; his grandsons, Sebastian Branciforte and Bryan Blakeslee; his great grandchild Arabella Blakeslee; his sister Katherine Raymond of Windsor Locks; his mother-in-law Sandy Long; and his siblings-in-law, Bill, Jim and Sandy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home (34 Main St, Centerbrook, CT 06409). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Centerbrook Cemetery (11 Saybrook Rd, Essex, CT 06426). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the same location.
