He is survived by: his sister Betty Thurston McDonald; his children, Nancy Mazy (Bruce), Jo Anne Thurston (Steve Marchand) and Gerry Thurston; his grandchildren, Shana, Keira, Robin, Andreea and Simona; and his great grandchildren, Adam, Sofia, Henry, Leah and Noah.
