As Julien departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Julien may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Julien leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Julien Brookson and Charlotte Ruan Brookson; his wife Kathleen Brookson; and his siblings, Olga James and Eugene Brookson.
He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Brookson of Old Saybrook; and his sisters, Lydia Strybosch (Raymond Brookson) of Curacao, Hortencia Augusty (Henri Brookson) of St Maarten and Philomena Plaisant of St. Martin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. John's Church (161 Main St, Old Saybrook, CT 06475).
