The memory of Judith Joy of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, who passed away on August 25, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Wood and Edythe Walkinshaw; and her close friend Dennis Bagley of Milbridge, Maine.. She is survived by: her children, Jeff Joy of Ivoryton, Deborah Joy of New Haven and Karen Joy Torrenti of Cromwell; her grandchildren, Timothy Joy, Christopher Joy, Samantha Torrenti and Andrew Torrenti; and her brother George Wood, Jr.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of the Robinson, Wright & Weymer Funeral Home (34 Main St, Centerbrook, CT 06409).
