He is survived by: his wife Diane Mercier Langhans Gilchrest; his children, Deborah M. Simonelli of Colchester, Michael C. Gilchrest (Erin) of Newington, Hayley, Luke, Cassidy Gilchrest of Newington, Abbey Simonelli of Norwich and John Simonelli of Kalamazoo, MIC; his brother-in-law Denis Langhans (Susan) of Durham; his nephew Eric of North Carolina; and his niece Jenna of New York.
