It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Raunikar of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, born in McAlester, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 29, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Raunikar and Frances Raunikar (Vidergar); his wife Elizabeth Bush (Betsy); his son Karl; and his brothers, Eddie, Frank, Joseph and Robert.
He is survived by: his daughter Marla Bogaert (John) of Essex; his grandchildren, Will (Laura) and Julia; his son Mark (Jane); and his grandchildren, Brendan, Annie and Jason (Amanda).
