It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Cassie of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cassie and Marion Cassie (Carlson); his wife Barbara Cassie (Wright); and his brother Alan Cassie. He is survived by: his sisters, Shirley Morash of Concord, NH and Beverley Poole of Dedham, MA.; his children, Susan Cassie (Jeff) of Bernardston, MA, Janet Downie (Peter) of Deep River, CT and Robert Cassie (Mary Jane) of Feeding Hills, MA.; his grandchildren, Talia, Lauren, Kaitlyn, Cameron, Matthew and Larisa; and his great grandchildren, Mya, Bryce, Harper, Emily, Jaxson and Grant.
