With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Diane Riley of Old Saybrook, Connecticut, born in West Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 9, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Miller and Dorothy Elliot Miller; her former husband James A. Riley; her siblings, Harold Miller Jr. and Margo Larson; her stepfather Raymond T. Stoviak; and her son-in-law Robert Hill.

She is survived by: her children, James B. Riley, Lisa Riley (Armando Pereira), Michelle Terribile (Michael) and Elizabeth Hill; her grandchildren, Karin, Justine, Zachary, Bernadette and Sarah; her great grandchildren, Tyler Alexis and Billy; her brother Ricky Miller; and her stepsister Joy Stoviak Flores of Costa Rica.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

“I was so saddened to learn, today, about Diane's passing. She was a wonderful, classy woman, who had a deep faith. Whenever I visited to bring her communion, in addition to a conversation about the readings for the week, she would offer me fashion advice. She taught me how to tie a scarf so it wouldn't "look like the 60s" and counselled me to always buy cashmere sweaters. My deep condolences to the family.”
