He is survived by: his children, Jeff Chapman of Old Saybrook and Tricia Chapman Granata (Joseph) of Old Lyme; his grandsons, Collyn Herel of Groton and William Herel of Niantic; and his siblings, Frederick Chapman of Chiefland, FL, Frances Smith (Chapman) of North Port, FL and Betty Mosher (Chapman) of Cranbrook.
