Richard H. Skov Obituary
We bid farewell to Richard H. Skov of Old Lyme, Connecticut, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 5, 2024 at the age of 92. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Sherlene; his children, Richard (Diane), Sherri (Patrick) and Kari; his grandsons, Alexander and Jeffrey; his sister Midge Skov; his brother-in-law Richard Reikofski; and his godchildren, Candace Abdoo, Kenneth Skov, Craig Reikofski and Kevin Thormahlen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Christ Lutheran Church (24 Society Rd, Niantic, CT 06357). Up until Covid, he swam at the East Lyme High School pool twice a week, and he also went to the ELHS exercise room.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Christ Lutheran Church Memorial Garden Fund.
