He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin F. Barnes and Priscilla Barnes (Hogan); and his brother Peter Barnes. He is survived by: his daughter Chelsea Barnes (Bill Andrulis) of Bristol; and his siblings, Mark Barnes (Jean) of Old Lyme, Jimmy Barnes (Pam) of Bristol, Susan Barnes, Holly LeDuc (Kevin) of Plainville and Lisa Barnes of Bristol. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
