She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice "Bud" McCarthy; her parents, Beatrice "Parsons" Wagner and John Wagner Sr of Clinton; and her brothers, Michael, John Jr and Richard Wagner.

She is survived by: her children, Michael D. McCarthy Jr (Elizabeth, Carrie McCarthy) and Nicholas McCarthy; and her great grandchildren, Mason and Myla.
