She was predeceased by: her parents, William McGarrity and Helen McGarrity (Burns); her sister Barbara Farley (John); and her niece Barbara Mooney. She is survived by: her son Jay Thornton; her granddaughter Emily Rose Bruton; her daughter Maureen Guenther (Thornton); her grandchildren, Garrity, Gus and Maggie Guenther; her nephew William Farley (Shelly); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Liam, Hayes and Scott.
