It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Lovina Leathers (Old Lyme, Connecticut), born in Houlton, Maine, who passed away on May 3, 2018, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her daughter Donna Hay; her grandsons, Bruce Leathers and Eric Hay; and her siblings, Edward Scott, Grover Scott, Harley Scott, John Scott, William Scott, Donald Scott, Pauline Maquillan, Evangeline Scott, Ruby Payne and Kathleen Person.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Leathers Getman of Lyme and James Leathers (Cathy) of Troy; her grandchildren, Richard Hay (Michelle), Brett Hay (Linda), James Leathers Jr., Lynn Leathers, Beth Lang (Bret), David Rubitski (Liz) and Jennifer Lathrop (Jason); and her great grandchildren, Jaime Hay, Jessa, Mitchell, Kayla Hay, Jennifer Leathers, Colin Leathers, Gretchen, Heather, Robert Smith, Sydney Lang, Davis Lang, Tabatha Rubitski, Sadie Rubitski, Grace Lathrop and Jonah Lathrop. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flanders Baptist Church, East Lyme.
