He is survived by: his parents, George Carnell and Josephine Carnell; his children, Susan Carnell (Larry), Diane Bates (Chip), Russell Carnell (Patricia) and Nancy Tiffany (Dave); his grandchildren, Tyler Bates, Lauren Bates Gerber (Tyler), Nicole Tiffany and Jake Tiffany; his sister-in-law Alexandra "Sandy" Tromba; his nieces and nephews, Barbara Haggerty, Barbara Tromba Murphy, Kathy Tromba Doran and Billy Tromba; and his grandfather Poppy.
