He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Conway and Jean Conway (O'Neil); his grandparents, Patrick J. (Bucky) and Helen O'Neil (Foley); his brother-in-law Lawrence A. Orluk; and his aunt Jane E. Conway.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Conway (Pettit); his daughter Hope Cameron (Jamie) of West Hartford; his siblings-in-law, Mary Pettit Orluk of Farmington and James A. Pettit (Christine) of West Hartford; and his nieces, Marianne Pettit Watt (Richard), Catherine Pettit Easter (Adam) and Julia Orluk.
As was his wish, there will be no public services for Jay and memorial donations in his honor may be sent to Save The Sound 900 Chapel Street, Suite 2202 New Haven, CT 06510 or the charity of your choice.
