Michael Butkevich Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Butkevich of Oakville, Connecticut, who passed away on January 13, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Anna Butkevich (Tomkiewicz); his parents, John Butkevich and Anna Butkevich (Butkevich); and his sisters, Olga and Mary.

He is survived by: his children, Michael Butkevich Jr. of Waterbury and Nancy Butkevich of Vanavara, Russia; his grandchildren, Michael Butkevich III and Shelly Gray (Josh); his great grandchild Logan; and his siblings, Peter of Thomaston, Frances of Middlebury and Helen of Wolcott.

Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 3000 North Main Street, Waterbury, CT 06704.
