He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Vergauwen (Sherman); his mother Barbara Vergauwen (Simmonds) of Phoenix, MD.; his children, Kristyn Vergauwen of Columbus, OH. and Kyle Vergauwen of Dracut, Mass.; and his brothers, Mark Vergauwen (Shira) of Lewisburg, PA., David Vergauwen of Baltimore, MD. and Matthew Vergauwen (Tammy) of Bel Air, MD..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Savior Lutheran Church or Watertown High School Robotics Team 237.
