She is survived by wife, mother, grandmother.
Loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister" Darlene M. (Bradshaw) Palomba age 64 of Oakville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on May 12, 2018. She was the beloved wife of Michael K. Palomba. Darlene was born April 15, 1954 in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Clarence and Dolores (Colella) Bradshaw. She was a graduate of Watertown High School. Darlene worked at Marshalls in Watertown for over 40 years. She was an avid bowler, loved to color, read, take family vacations to RI, cruises and trips to the casinos with her loving husband but her greatest joy was found with her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. Besides her loving husband of 40 years of Oakville, she leaves her son Daryl Palomba and his girlfriend Jackie Rosati of Oakville, her daughter Stacie Hoyt and her husband Chris of Harwinton, two brothers Ronald Bradshaw and his wife Linda of Torrington, George Bradshaw and his wife Vianella of Torrington, her grandchildren Sara Palomba, Jonathan Palomba and Jacob Hoyt and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Clarence Bradshaw. Darlene's family would like to thank the doctors and staff at Harold Leever Regional Cancer Center and Waterbury Hospital I.C.U. for their kindness, care and compassion extended to Darlene and her family. Arrangements : Funeral Wednesday at 10 a.m. directly at Saint John the Evangelist Church, those planning to attend are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. Calling hours Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury.
