It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia J. Hayes of Oakdale, Connecticut, born in Chester, North West, who passed away on November 15, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Starkey and Ellen Starkey (Dean); her husband Robert E. Hayes; her daughter Sheila Claffey; and her siblings, Audrey Pickering and Geoff Starkey.
She is survived by: her daughter Jean Bigelow (Paul Bigelow) of Windsor; her sisters, Sheila Montgomery of Florida, Pamela Chittenden of Chester and England; her sister-in-law Barbara Hayes of Kentucky; and her grandchildren, Chad, Kimberly Bigelow and Matthew Stark.
