He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen J. Perkins and Dorothy Perkins (Geer); his granddaughter Kaitlynn Smith; his brothers, Owen Jr., Donald, Lenny and Kenny; and his sister-in-law Cynthia Perkins.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Robert Perkins Jr. (Mary Rebecca), Laurie Perkins Lewis, LuAnn Perkins (David) and MaryAnn Perkins Smith (Jesse); his grandchildren, Timothy, Rebecca, Katherine Lewis, Nicholas Smith, Michael Perkins, Savanna, Jack and Madelynn Perkins; his siblings, Raymond Perkins, Larry Perkins, Mary Veal, Dorothy Yaworski of Montville, Carol Wilson, Elaine Gagnier, Dennis Gagnier of Quaker Hill, Gail Gagnier Malloy, Janet Silva, Robert Silva, Diane and Sullivan of Waterford; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy, Carol, Betty Lou Perkins and Kim Perkins of Quaker Hill. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to St. Jude's children's hospital or The Jimmie fund.
