It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Arlene Brown of Oakdale, Connecticut, born in Plainfield, Connecticut, who passed away on January 7, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Adelina Phoebe and Joseph Angus Walsh; her husband Jeweldeen Brown; her children, Lina Dickey of North Grafton, MA, Jessica Hoadley (John) of Niantic, CT and Phillip Brown (Linda) of Quaker Hill, CT; her granddaughters, Stephanie Ruggiere (Dominic) of Shrewsbury, MA, Naomi Brown (Fred Chambers) of Groton, CT, Julie Wooten (Jeffrey) of Uncasville, CT, Corie Doyle (Matt Chirsky) of Quaker Hill, CT and Amy McLeod (Rick) of Newtown, CT.; and her great grandchildren, Nicholas Ruggiere, Joshua Chapman, Ainsley, Noel McLeod, Liam Wooten, Lily Ruggiere and Jeffery Doyle. She was also cherished by 5 great great grandchildren.
