He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Champa and Lucia Champa (Mariani); and his siblings, Tony Champa, Josephine Beuchler, Angelina Gorton, Maria Turner and Joseph Casano.

He is survived by: his wife Elvira T. Cortina; and his grandchildren, Cody and Ryan Champa of Wisconsin.
