James Allen Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2022, at the age of 85, James Allen of Oakdale, Connecticut, born in Lake Wales, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Ferris Allen and Mary Retha Allen (Shock); his wife Mary Louise (Funk); his children, John Allen (Nancy) of Oakdale, James Allen, Jr. of Oakdale, Michael Allen (Selma) of Glastonbury, Lisa Daniels (John) of Middletown, Cynthia Davis of Kennett Square, PA and Christine Allen (William) of Salem; and his siblings, Byron Allen of Alpha, FL, William Allen of Arcadia, FL, Henry Allen of Boca Raton, FL, Robert Allen of Alpha, FL, Henrietta of Boca Raton, FL. and Ann Troup of Huntsville, AL.. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
