She was predeceased by: her father Johann Gruber. She is survived by: her husband Mitchell Koziol; her children, Mitch Koziol (Kelly), Marysia Koziol, Andrew Roy and Christopher Roy; and her brother Hans Gruber (Germany).

Upon her early retirement due to health reasons, she continued to donate her time to the Boy Scouts.
