We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2024, at the age of 76, Barbara J. Abel of Oakdale, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Orr and Charles Orr. She is survived by: her sons, Frank Abel III (Jeni) of Waldoboro, ME, Charles Abel (Angela Apicelli) of East Hardwick, VT and Christopher Abel (Lisa) of Farmington, CT.; her granddaughters, Reese, Reagan, Senna, Rhea, Marin and Norah; and her siblings, Charles Orr (Betty) of Uncasville, CT, Margaret Franko (Mark) of Greenlawn, NY and Christopher Orr (Jody) of Bakersfield, CA. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Raymond Library, 832 Raymond Hill Rd., Oakdale, CT 06370.
