It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Gawendo (Norwichtown, Connecticut), who passed away on April 3, 2018, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her spouse Jacob Gawendo; her sons, Evert Gawendo (Lisa) of Griswold and Maurice Gawendo of Mystic; her grandchildren, Jacob Gawendo (Caitlin), Michael Gawendo (Kristine Wujcik), Julie Gawendo, Sassaman of San Francisco and Melissa Pulley (Kyle) of Montclair, N. J.; her great grandchildren, Mila Rae, Miles Rae and Ruby Rae; and also Holocaust.
