It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard W. Moore Jr. of Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 55, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Richard W. may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard W. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Strider and Gwenda K. Strider (Moore). He is survived by: his wife Donna J. Moore (Morrissette); his daughters, Madison R. Moore of Knoxville, TN and Samantha V. Moore of Norwich; his brother James Moore (Tonya); his parents-in-law, Normand and Joanne Morrissette of The Villages, FL; his siblings-in-law, David, Janet Morrissette, Richard and Amy Morrissette of Bluffton, SC; and his daughter Audrey Scalaro. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cathedral of Saint Patrick Church (213 Broadway, Norwich, CT 06360).
