It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie A. Piascik of Norwich, Connecticut, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Jessie may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Merriman and Ruby Merriman (Miller); her husband Wayne Piascik; her son Peter A. Piascik (Stefanie); and her brother Lawrence Merriman (Pia).
She is survived by: her children, Michael R. Piascik (Ivy), Kathleen A. Schnitzler (William), Debra A. Dziengiel (John) and Cindy A. Spring (Travis); and her sisters, Suzanne Damien (Alfred) and Ellen Waggoner (Michael). She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Maplewood Cemetery (184 Salem Turnpike, Norwich, CT 06360).
