He is survived by: his children, Catherine Pizzi (John) of Uncasville, Bernadette Ouimet (Paul) of Taftville and Jeremiah E. Shea (Naomi) of Lisbon; and his grandchildren, Gregory, Matthew Pizzi, Jeremiah A. Shea II, Elizabeth Binczewski, Christine, Laura Edwards and Deanna Shea. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
