He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hendrick and Viola Hendrick (Guyer); his former wife Betty Anne Hendrick (Garrigan); his brother Charles; his sister-in-law Marian; his sister Lois (Eugene McCarthy); and his brothers-in-law, Richard Ryan and George Mulligan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hendrick (McCarthy); his sons, Robert (Debbie) of Connecticut, William (Eva) of Connecticut and John of Connecticut; his grandchildren, Melissa Murphy, Laura Hendrick and Taylor Hendrick; his sister Jean Mulligan (Ryan); his sister-in-law Lois Hendrick; and his children, Sean (Beth McCarthy), Daniel (Diana McCarthy), Maureen McCarthy and Eileen (Randy Teinert). He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to: St. Thomas Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT 06855 or Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County.
