Patricia White Obituary

(Marie) Patricia "Pat" White, 99, of Norwalk, wife of the late Roy W. White Jr., died on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at Brightview in Norwalk. Pat was born in Beacon, NY, on April 6, 1925, daughter of the late William and Marie (Grady) Braun.

A graduate of the College of New Rochelle, with a bachelor's degree in biology, she worked as a real estate agent for Coldwell Banker. A longtime member of Shore and Country Club, she was also active with the Red Cross bloodmobile, Norwalk Senior Center and St. Jerome Church.

During the years raising 7 children, Pat and Roy enjoyed taking classes in upholstery so they could refinish many pieces of furniture in their home. Pat also enjoyed gardening with extensive flower and vegetable gardens. Sewing was another passion, making dresses for her daughters and granddaughters. Baking pies and desserts were a joy, especially at Thanksgiving.

She is survived by her children, Patti-Anne Thomas and her husband Bob, Susan Hough and her husband Bruce, Sheila Bufithis and her husband Bill, Maureen Camasso and her husband Ralph, Kevin White and his wife Teresa, Katie White, and David White and his wife Paula, 15 loving grandchildren, 15 cherished great-grandchildren, and her sister Kay McNaughton.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, July 10, at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
