She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Izzo Padula and Andrew Padula; and her brother Peter Padula. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Bud" Smith; her children, Susan Muro (Tony) of Milford, Mike Smith (Karen) of Trumbull, Tricia Curry (Steve) of Monroe and Katie Chase (Ted) of Trumbull; her grandchildren, Ali, Kendall Muro, Matt, Hannah, Luke Smith, Jack, Mary Curry, Riley and Caroline Chase; and her siblings, Rose Barbero, Palma Novello and Andrew Padula. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her honor to Regional Hospice, 30 Milestone Rd., Danbury, CT 06810.
