With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Kalotai of Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on August 2, 2022 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria Kalotai to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Kalotai; her parents, Janos Fazekas and Theriza Prikosztovits Fazekas; and her sisters, Thereza Ribarits and Elizabeth Godolle.

She is survived by: her children, John Kalotai (Lenore) of Shelton, Katherine Burns (William) of Bethel, Marieanne Kalotai of Shelton and Kalman Kalotai (Marcela Flemini) of West Hartford; her sister Edit Huller (Hungary) of Peresznye; her sister-in-law Elisabeth Kaufmann of Hawthorne, NY; her niece Elisabeth McLay of Grangemouth; her grandchildren, Margaret Koenig (Justin), Andrew Kalotai, Emily Kalotai, Christopher Burns, Kyle Kalotai and Jake Kalotai; and her great grandchildren, Jackson, Hunter and Skylar Koenig. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
