He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jose Manuel and Maria Cecilia Mendez (Arguedas); his wife Ada Alvarado Mendez; his children, Omar, Heilyn, Carlo and Marcela; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Tiffany, Madelyn, Emma, Michael and Maxx; and his siblings, Viria, Carlos, Marlen, Roger, Jose Manuel, Rita, Martin, Dunia, Maria Eugenia and Eduvigis.
