She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel McFadden; her parents, Julian Blackwell and Louise "Sweetie" McDowell; and her sister Barbara "Bobbi" Blackwell. She is survived by: her siblings, Elaine Dantzler, Daisy Mae Britt, Luethel Wilson (John), Julian Blackwell (Eva), Willie James Blackwell (Danita) and Albertis Blackwell (Deloris); her children, Larry Blackwell, Joyce Jackson and Efrem McFadden; her niece Cindee; and her grandchild Nashon. She is also survived by 10 great grand children.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Miracle Temple Fellowship Hall (2 Trinity Pl, Norwalk, CT 06854). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Riverside Cemetery (81 Riverside Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850).
