He is survived by: his daughter Clementine Verner of Cypress, Texas; his grandchildren, Jaramial Lee-Floyd of Charlotte, Shante Baxter of Conway, Byron Verner and Kelvin Gray of Hemingway; his sisters, Ruthenia Mullins (late Lynn) and Lucille Verner of Bridgeport, Connecticut; and his brother-in-law Clarence Sumpter of Norwalk.
