He was predeceased by: his wife Valentina Stefanidis; his daughter Ekaterina; and his siblings, Parthena Kydes, Konstantinos, Dimitrios and Savvas Stefanidis.

He is survived by: his daughter Ester; his son-in-law Steve; and his grandchildren, Lazaros and Valentina. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
