He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Donna-Margaret Poller Dempsey (Queenie); his parents, Frank Dempsey and Janet Dempsey (O'Hidy); his daughters, Donna Marie Dempsey and Corey Dempsey (Jordan Reed); his grandson Miles Ryker Reed; his sisters, Deb Dempsey Doshna (Dennis), Sheri Dempsey (Patrick) and Sharon Dempsey Keenan (Tim); his niece Cheyenne Dempsey (John); his nephews, Steven Bristol, Michael Bristol, Sean Dempsey (Wanda), Adam Dempsey, Jack Barker (Kerri) and Brett Barker (Maryluz); his brother Brian Dempsey; and his niece Ashley Dempsey. He was also cherished by one great niece and two great-nephews.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT 06902).
