John J. Zullo Jr. Obituary

John J. Zullo, Jr., age 76, died on February 22, 2025, at Norwalk Hospital. Born in Norwalk on September 9, 1948, he was the son of John J. and Virginia F. (Pioli) Zullo.

John was an excellent drummer and played in several bands in the 80's. He loved baseball and the New York Yankees were his team.

He was known by all as a very kind man that never got mad at anyone. He worked at Home Depot as a plumbing associate for the last 30 years and was currently employed at the Norwalk location. John loved his job, the people and friends at Home Depot truly became his second family.

He is survived by his sister Robin Lisi and her husband Dominic as well as two nieces: Diana Shyket (Harry) and Pamela Lisi. He also leaves behind a great niece, Emma and a great nephew Dylan all of Trumbull.

His family will receive friends on Thursday February 27 from 4-8 pm, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Friday, February 28, at St. Jerome Church, 23 Half Mile Road, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk.
