He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. McBride and Sarah McBride (McNally). He is survived by: his daughter Carrie Whelan (Sean); his grandchildren, Maeve and Nolan; his children, Michael McBride and Alaina; and his sister Joan Foy. He is also survived by 2 nieces and a nephew.
