Jeanne Elmo Obituary
Jeanne "Jenny" Elmo, 99, died on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2024 at her home in Norwalk. Born in NYC, daughter of Gabriel and Beatrice (Pecunia) Casubolo, she was also predeceased by her husband Ernest, brother Anthony Casubolo and nephew Tony Casubolo.
She worked as a seamstress, in the garment district in New York City, until moving to Connecticut around 1947. She also made wedding gowns and fine dresses in Westport, pausing only to raise her family.
She is survived by her children, Ernest G. Elmo, Beatrice A. Elmo and Christopher Elmo, as well as two nephews.
Her family will receive friends on Monday, Nov 4 from 8:30-9:30 am at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Ave, Norwalk. Her Funeral Mass will be held Monday, at 10AM at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Ave, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery.
