It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Saltourides Batzios of Norwalk, Connecticut, who passed away on October 5, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anastasios Saltourides and Eleni Lafazanides Saltourides; and her siblings, Konstantinos, John, Christos, Sofia, Anatoli, Paraskevi and Parthena.
She is survived by: her children, Eleni Papahristou (Stavros) of Plantsville, CT and John Lazaridis (George Batzios) of Norwalk, CT; her grandchildren, Petros Papahristou, Evangelos Papahristou (Brianne) and Antonios Papahristou; her great grandchildren, Elianna and Stavros; and her siblings, Lazaros Saltourides (Effie) and Despina Koulidakis (Panagiotis). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
