She was predeceased by: her parents, William Blume and Grace Blume (Wright). She is survived by: her children, Joanne Svogun (John) of Cheshire, CT and Bill Oakes (Sandy) of Fort Myers, FL.; and her husband Wayne Root of Carmel, NY.. She is also survived by her 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
